Evening of Wednesday August 24, 2011
1. Get picked up from airport by dear friends Brady, Krystelle and Carla
2. See Brady and Carla in love in the front
3. Drive to my car
4. Ten minutes later, find my car literally lodged in the woods
5. For five minutes straight think about how preposterous it was that my car was disguised among the foliage.
6. Wonder who the hell put it there
7. Figure out who the hell put it there
8. Drop stuff off at Courtney's
9. Greet Courtney at library
10. I am happy again
11. Happily sleep at Courtney's
Thursday August 25, 2011
1. Wake up at six thirty and leave Court's by seven
2. Go to library to start looking for person to fix car
3. Call mechanic to come look at my car
4. Eat food at McDonald's
5. Hitchhike to Hauula to meet mechanic
6. Receive a free grapefruit from kind driver
7. Wait for mechanic for quite some time
8. Mechanic arrives
9. Mechanic sees car and laughs
10. Mechanic puts new battery in car and tries to start it
11. Mechanic say engine is shot
12. Mechanic hates to be the bearer of bad news
13. I notice that I am very hot and my stomach is churning
14. I get ride back to Laie by mechanic
15. I pay mechanic money
16. Find out I left phone charger on mainland
17. I run into Fraga and Brady
18. They are going to beach and I join.
19. My day flips 180 degrees
20. We go to Sunset Beach
21. We get killed by shorebreak and I love it
22. Boys act gay entire time they are in water
23. Leave beach and hitchhike back with a really kind Santa Claus
24. Catch bus at Turtle Bay
25. Arrive in Laie
26. Start looking really hard for place to live
27. Get on waitlist for Hale 1
29. Eat dinner at subway with Courtney
28. Hang out with Courtney on the curb
29. Make new friends
30. Read scriptures
31. Go to bed
