This photo is old, but I think it is a pretty good picture to illustrate how my life is right now. I am on this swing just going up and down back and forth, sometimes the ride is smooth and sometimes it is pretty jerky. I love it! I was thinking about whether or not money makes me happy. I had this natural tendency today as I walked into the BYUH bookstore to have the desire to buy something for someone or myself. I do not know why that is but it made me curious so I started to do some research. I found this article which I mostly agree with. I do not know about the first part where it talks about percentages and happiness, but as for purchasing 'experiences', I think I mostly agree with that.

I do think that in most cases when you are able to spend money on fun little experiences, then your happiness is increased, especially if you are spending money for yourself and those you support. In most cases, I think that money doesn't buy happiness, but sitting in the book store today, that interesting thought came to my head.
