Sunday - Sabbath Day - An intensive day for blogging:)

The people that I want to read this the most will probably never take the time to delve into some of my deepest thoughts...but that is quite alright.

Yesterday I was thinking about how little people really know about who I truly am. I feel that not only do I express my true personality and thoughts inadequately, but they are misinterpreted in so many ways. I am happy to say that that is okay with me for two reasons: 1, because for this reason, in my eyes it is black and white who really desires to know who that person is, and 2, because I know that my Lord and Savior know everything about me and that is all I need to feel at peace.

I have one thing to blog about tonight....

My parents... they are amazing. If you want to meet some really great people, talk to my parents...or better yet, watch them. My father is the definition of a servant of the Lord. He is constantly serving his community...He does not serve for attention or to boom his business...it is quite the opposite...he does it because he wants to change people...he wants to make people happy. I cannot thank him enough for being such a great example to me of service...He is a great man who I look up to for advice and guidance.

My mother is an amazing woman. We are alike in so many ways. She is my best friend. She says and does what she thinks is right despite what others think of her...her intentions are nothing but noble and whole and good. She only wants the best for everyone and works so hard to make the best happen. She is also constantly quietly serving others. I love her so much because she is always serving me and the rest of her children...man...she sure does love all of us to the moon and back...

Her and Dad must love us so much because they put up with all kinds of crap from all of us kids...if you can imagine pretty much anything a child could do to mess up, I am sure one of us has got it covered...between the seven of us, we have a well rounded array of mistakes...and still an abundance of love and kindness come from our parents. Parents are the greatest blessing on the earth. I love my parents, that is for sure.

You do have two exceptional parents who are so strong and good in so many ways. They have always been such a wonderful example of love and giving hearts. I'm so blessed to be related to them both and to their amazing children.

I am a Latter Day Saint

I know that God lives and loves us with all his heart. I know that his Son, Jesus Christ, came to Earth to pay for the sins of the world and to show us the way to live our lives. I know that because of Him we can live again in Heaven with them. I know that Joseph Smith saw the Father and the Son and he knew it, and he knew that God knew it and he could not deny it. I am so glad that he brought this lost Gospel back unto the world. I am so grateful for the Priesthood keys and for revelation that we are blessed with today. I am grateful for the Book of Mormon that shares wonderful stories of strength and truth and that guides me in my life today. I know that it is indeed another testament of Jesus Christ. I am especially grateful for my knowledge of the sweet plan of salvation. I am so grateful that I will never ever not be with my family forever. I can thank my amazing parents for this. I love my family more than anything on this earth I pray that someday they will accept and find the joy that the gospel is constantly bringing into my life. I have found so much joy and hope in the gospel that I want to share with the world. Each time I see someone come unto the gospel, I rejoice because I know that not only that soul, but many others will be changed because of that one soul.

I know that God loves me and I see it in my everyday blessings. I see it in the beautiful landscapes and the nature all around me. I see God in my friends and in strangers who have shared their smiles with me. I see God in all that I do and just like Joseph Smith, I cannot deny it. I know that my trials are there to make me stronger and more capable of sharing and relating with others. My trials have brought me closer with Heavenly Father.

This is the Gospel of kindness; the Gospel of love; this is the precious Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know this church is true and I am grateful for the influence it has in my life.

This is my humble testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
