Конні Дівчина

I just looked up my name in Ukrainian and this is how it is spelled. I am sure it is pronounced the same considering those H's sound like N's in Ukrainian.(c-o-n-ee) The second word is Colleen, which when I did some research is pronounced like Ah-ee-v-ch-yuh-nuh-ah. With some more extensive research (thank you google translate) I learned that Colleen sounds so much different because it literally translates from Ukrainian to English as "girl." Colleen means girl.

Today was a good day. I left Joseph's and said goodbye to Em. Then I went to visit Aunt Shari. I always have the most stimulating conversations with her. I am glad I went to visit before I leave on Tuesday. I also stopped by Connie's to pick up my Ugg boots that she purchased in Beijing for 22 dollars!!!! I am amazed at the prices over in Beijing. Connie and I visited for a couple hours, which was also nice. I always love visiting with her. We are so similar and different at the same time...I love it so much! Then I headed home...A little bit after I got home, I went to Hales and said goodbye to her (she is leaving for school in the morning). I will miss her. We had a lot of fun this summer and her family is one of the best I have ever met. She is so lucky. and I am so lucky to be so close to them.

Ukraine is only two days away and I am just awaiting my arrival! I cannot wait to get over there and start yet another adventure. It is going to be quite the experience. I can only hope to put a quarter of my experiences on this blog...I will try my best to keep it updated.

Also! here is a picture of Maressa and Chris Chord's wedding reception! So wonderful!:)
