Sept. 30th, 2010 - Dresden, Germany

The bus ride to Dresden was fabulous! I finished my book, Sweet Misfortunes. It is one of my favorite books. I teared up about every time I picked it up. When we made it to Dresden, we walked to a gorgeous Lutheran church that was just rebuilt in 2005 and has pieces of the original church and is built identically as the original church was. I was starting to get a little tired of the whole tourist thing and so we kind of did our own thing the whole day. We walked around and got to know the town a little bit. It was the least tourist town I had been to the whole week and I loved it.

This is the Lutheran Church with a statue of Martin Luther in front of it. All the dark blocks are the original parts of the church.

This is the wall of Kings. There was a lot of them!

This is how all the sewers were in Dresden and Prague!

This nice man helped us find an atm. He didn't speak English was I love his German. I love German!

This is my first time having euros in my hands. This was after I went through Ukrainian money (grivna), Polish money, and Czech money (crowns)!

I love German!

I love this pic of Deeds and I on the Elbe River Bridge. This was right before we headed back to the bus to go home and bond with all the girls in our room! It was an epic night.
