Day Three of Prague

Sept 29th, 2010

Day Three was my favorite day of Prague! It was a free day and we did exactly what we wanted to do all day! We left the hotel around 11 and visited the Jewish Quarter of Prague. It was interesting to see the cemetery and all the buildings inside a Jewish ghetto. They were not allowed to leave the ghetto without permission from the king. I was most interested by that area of town, but everywhere was so gorgeous. After we left that area we went across a bridge and saw this pretty building up on a hill.

We thought it was a little church but it was actually a restaurant...the important part was that it was a gorgeous view of the city. It was fabulous! And there was a nice green park up there too. It was really sweet.

Then we went back to the Old Town Center to go on this tour of the clock and the underground of Prague. It was a fantastic tour and the view from the top of the tower was impeccable.

After the tour we went to meet Emilie's Slovakian friend to go to dinner with her. That was fun and we just kind of hung out and enjoyed ourselves in the city looking at some souvenirs and other fun things! A good day over all!
The view from the top of the hill:)

This is the way up to the top of the clock tower. It was sweet. The thing in the middle is an elevator!

Just one view from the top! Loved it.

If you can't tell this was my favorite part of the trip to Prague!

loving the view so much!

The girls!

Another view from the tower...so gorgeous!

This is what we found in the evening walking the streets! Too bad it didn't say Prague anywhere on the outside!

This was our Armenian friend who worked at this souvenir store. He spoke a little bit of everything! English, Russian, Spanish, German, French, Italian, and Arabic (his first language) TOO COOL!

I'm all bundled up and cozy chillin with the apostles inside the astronomical clock.

Sara and I getting our gelato for my second time! It was delicious!

Sara and I waiting for Mitch (Emilie's friend) at Wenceslas Square.

This was how our night pretty much ended:) It was hilarious! I actually laugh every time I watch it.
